Hi again,

I hope your week is going well. Today I share with you a beautiful poem by Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca (translated by a dear friend).

“I desire

only your warm heart,

and nothing else.

My paradise a field

without mockingbirds

or lyres,

with a gentle stream

and a little fountain.

Without the wind’s spur

on the frond,

or the star that wants

to be a leaf.

A huge light

that was

the firefly of another,

in a field

of broken stares.

A clear repose

and there our kisses,

loud polka dots

of the echo,

would open far away.

And your warm heart,

nothing else.”
